Since we are owned by our members, we "truly" have your interests in mind. To help keep our costs down and provide better returns and services to our members, we try to keep our operations simple! However, we do focus on account access as convenient as possible for you and your family.

We offer a 24 hour toll-free audio response automated teller service, CU24 (800.910.2824) and our Internet Account Access & Bill Payment Service through POPA MoneyLink. We have partnered with The CO-OP ATM Network and CU Service Centers (other credit unions' branch locations) for you to make deposits and cash withdrawals through out the United States at no cost to you!

CU Service Centers

Shared Branching is a cooperative netowrk of credit unions that have joined together and created shared service centers across the country. By sharing facilities, credit union can offer greater convenience for members to access their accounts at many locations just as if they were at their home credit union.

As a POPA Federal Credit Union member, you have access to over 2,500 CU Service Center locations throughout the U.S., to perform deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and other transactions on your account. These transactions that will be reflected on your account at POPA Federal Credit Union instantaneously. The following are the services available:

• Nationwide access
• Monday through Saturday Access (applicable to only certain locations)
• Make deposits and withdrawals (some restrictions may apply)
• Make loan payments
• Transfers
• Print a statement of your accounts
• Cash checks
• Purchase Money Orders, Travelers Checks and Official Checks
• Obtain cash advances and balance inquiries

To take advantage of this service, when members enter a shared branch they only need to bring:

• Their home credit union's name
• Their account number
• Valid government-issued photo identification i.e. State driver's license or U.S. Passport

The CO-OP ATM Network

Not near a POPA Federal Credit Union office? No need to worry! There are over 25,000 surcharge-free ATMs available to you.

The Falcon Fraud Control Program for POPA MasterMoney Debit Card

In our continuing efforts to better ensure a greater defense against theft, loss, or unauthorized use of our member/owners' debit cards, we have implemented the "Falcon" fraud control program for all of our MasterMoney debit card accounts. This program will prompt our system to put your card on hold in the even that a transaction is deemed as "suspicious activity" per the program's criteria.

Once your card is placed on hold, a representative on behalf of POPA Federal Credit Union will try to contact you at the telephone number we have on file. You will be asked to verify the last few transactions made, as well as giving the last four digits of your social security number and your date of birth. If the representative is not able to reach you at the given number, your card will continue to be placed on hold until you contact the Credit Union.

It is important that you update all contact information with POPA, especially a mobile phone number at which you can be reached. If your debit card is blocked from access during the weekend or after business hours and you do not receive a phone call from our representative, please call the toll free number listed below for immediate resolution.
