Leyva
Ray Leyva Incumbent, served as Chairman on POPA FCU’s Board of Directors since 1993

As a longtime member of the POPA Federal Credit Union Board of Directors, it is that time again where I ask for your continued support and for your vote at this year’s election for the 2017 Board of Directors. As Chairman of the Board, it has been my honor to work with the other Board members and Management, to provide the best service possible to you, our Membership. I have been a member of the Sheriff’s Department family for 35 years now, and a member of the Board of Directors for over 19 years. We have dealt with the tough economic times, scrutiny by the NCUA, and challenges in continuing to provide the best service possible to you, while still upholding our fiduciary duty to protect the Credit Union and its assets, and I believe that working with the team we have, we have accomplished that.

Garza
Henry Garza Incumbent, serves as Secretary on POPA FCU’s Board of Directors and also serves on the Technology Steering Committee

I am seeking re-election on the Board of Directors as an active member of POPA FCU in good standing in order to ensure that the Credit Union’s philosophy of “Members Helping Members” is sustained and upheld through prudent financial policies and procedures. As a law enforcement official, having served the greater Los Angeles community for over thirty plus years, I understand the importance of upholding sound and effective management practices and decisions that lead to the delivery of quality products and service. In the interest of fiduciary responsibility, I will continue to review laws governing the Credit Union in accordance with financial statements, the annual budget and business planning.
