PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: September 21, 2026, through December 21, 2026

NO PURCHASE OR DEPOSIT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT, DEPOSIT, OR ACCOUNT OPENING WILL NOT INCREASE THE ODDS OF WINNING BEYOND THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES EARNED. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

 

Sponsor

The 2026 Back 2 School Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by POPA Federal Credit Union (“POPA FCU” or “Sponsor”), 13304 Alondra Blvd., Cerritos, CA 90703.

 

Promotional Period

The Sweepstakes begins September 21, 2026, and ends December 21, 2026 (“Promotional Period”). All qualifying activities and entries must be completed or received during the Promotional Period. Mail-in entries must be received by POPA FCU no later than December 21, 2026.

 

Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are eligible for POPA Federal Credit Union membership and who otherwise satisfy these Official Rules.
For entries associated with a K-9 $avers or Bulldogs Checking account held by a minor, the youth member’s parent or legal guardian must consent to participation and may be required to accept the prize on the minor’s behalf.
POPA FCU employees, officials, board and committee members, volunteers, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate or win. “Immediate family” includes spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside.
Qualifying POPA FCU accounts must be open and in good standing at the time eligibility is verified.

 

How to Earn Entries

Eligible participants may receive entries during the Promotional Period through the following methods:

 

New Youth Account Opening:

One (1) entry will be awarded for opening a new K-9 $avers account during the Promotional Period. One (1) entry will be awarded for opening a new Bulldogs Checking account during the Promotional Period. A qualifying youth member who opens both eligible account types may receive two (2) entries.

Qualifying Deposits:

Eligible K-9 $avers and Bulldogs Checking account holders may earn entries by making qualifying deposits of $20.00 or more during the Promotional Period, subject to a maximum of five (5) qualifying deposit entries per youth member per calendar month. The five-entry monthly maximum applies collectively across the youth member’s eligible K-9 $avers and Bulldogs Checking accounts and is not five entries per account.

Qualifying deposits may include cash, check, electronic deposit, direct deposit, or other qualifying deposit methods accepted by POPA FCU. Transfers or transactions determined by POPA FCU to have been made solely to artificially generate Sweepstakes entries may be excluded. A deposited check or other item that is subsequently returned, reversed, charged back, or otherwise not collected will not qualify and the corresponding entry may be removed.

 

2026 Bulldog Birthday Card:

One (1) bonus entry may be earned by presenting and redeeming an eligible, previously unredeemed 2026 Bulldog Birthday Card at a POPA FCU branch during the Promotional Period. Original Birthday Cards will be collected and forwarded to the Marketing Department for verification.

Instagram Bonus Entry:

One (1) bonus entry may be earned by following POPA Federal Credit Union’s official Instagram account during the Promotional Period, subject to verification by POPA FCU. Participants must comply with Instagram’s applicable terms and age requirements. Where the qualifying youth member is not eligible to maintain an Instagram account, an eligible parent or legal guardian may participate on behalf of the youth member, subject to POPA FCU's verification procedures.

Only one (1) Instagram bonus entry may be earned per eligible youth member during the Promotional Period.

 

Free Alternative Method of Entry | No Account Opening or Deposit Required

No purchase, payment, deposit, or account opening is necessary to enter or win.

 

An eligible individual may enter without opening an account or making a deposit by legibly printing their full name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and the words “2026 Back 2 School Sweepstakes Entry” on a 3" x 5" card and mailing it in a stamped envelope to:

Each valid 3" x 5" card received constitutes one (1) Sweepstakes entry. Each entry must be submitted separately and must comply with the entry limitations established in these Official Rules. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, automated, bulk, incomplete, illegible, or otherwise noncompliant entries may be disqualified.

 

Mail-in entries must be received by December 21, 2026.

Entry Limitations

All entry limits apply per eligible youth participant, not separately to each K-9 $avers or Bulldogs Checking account.

 

POPA FCU reserves the right to review account activity and other records to verify entries and to remove duplicate, erroneous, fraudulent, reversed, returned, manipulated, or otherwise ineligible entries.

Prizes
Three (3) winners will be selected.

 

First Place / Grand Prize Winner:

Two (2) Universal Studios Hollywood® tickets. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $310.00, plus applicable taxes, if any.

Second Place Winner:

One (1) tablet — ARV: $250.00, plus applicable taxes, if any.

Third Place Winner:

One (1) Instax Mini Camera — ARV: $120.00, plus applicable taxes, if any.

Actual prize models and ticket terms may vary. Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemption or substitution is permitted except that POPA FCU reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.

 

Any federal, state, or local taxes or other expenses associated with acceptance or use of a prize are the responsibility of the winner or the winner’s parent/legal guardian, as applicable.

Winner Selection and Verification

 

The drawing is scheduled to be conducted on or about December 29, 2026.

Potential winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

 

All potential winners are subject to verification by POPA FCU before being declared an official winner. POPA FCU may verify qualifying account activity, account eligibility, Birthday Card redemption, Instagram participation, mail-in entries, and other applicable entry requirements.

Potential winners may be required to provide identification and/or execute an eligibility confirmation, liability/publicity release, parental or legal guardian consent, or other documentation reasonably required by POPA FCU.

If a potential winner is ineligible, cannot be contacted within the time specified by POPA FCU, fails to provide requested verification, declines the prize, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, POPA FCU may select an alternate winner by random drawing.

 

Instagram Release and Disclaimer

By participating in any Instagram-related portion of the Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to completely release and hold harmless Instagram from all liability arising out of or related to participation in the Sweepstakes.

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Participants understand that they are providing their information to POPA Federal Credit Union and not to Instagram.

Participants using Instagram must comply with Instagram’s applicable terms, policies, rules, and age requirements. POPA FCU reserves the right to disqualify an Instagram entry that cannot be verified or that violates these Official Rules or applicable Instagram requirements.

Publicity

 

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for POPA FCU to use a winner’s first name, likeness, photograph, and prize information for reasonable promotional and advertising purposes without additional compensation, subject to any required parent or legal guardian authorization for a minor.

General Conditions

 

POPA FCU reserves the right to disqualify any participant who attempts to tamper with the entry process, manipulate qualifying transactions, submit fraudulent entries, interfere with the administration of the Sweepstakes, or otherwise violate these Official Rules.

POPA FCU reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or circumstances beyond POPA FCU’s reasonable control materially affect the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes.

Decisions of POPA FCU regarding eligibility, entry qualification, winner verification, and administration of the Sweepstakes are final, subject to applicable law.

Privacy

Information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be handled in accordance with POPA Federal Credit Union’s applicable privacy policies and may be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, and award prizes.
