Getting Started with POPA FCU and Apple Pay is simple
Step 1
Setting Up Touch ID
If you haven’t done so, setup Touch ID to keep your device and Apple Pay purchases secure. Click HERE for instructions on setting up your Touch ID.

Setting Up Face ID

Step 2
Add Your Card(s) To Your Wallet
To add your POPA FCU credit or debit card, you’ll need an iPhone ® 6 or iPhone 6 Plus and newer with iOS 8.1 or later. Also compatible are select models of the iPad mini, iPad air, Apple watch and Mac models. Be sure to check the compatible devices list here to ensure your device is listed.
Open the Wallet ® app, swipe down and tap the plus sign. Use your iSight ® camera to enter the card or add it manually.
If your POPA FCU card is already in iTunes ®, just key in the Security Code (the CVV code from the back of your card).
Step 3
Setup Notifications
Enable Push Notifications: Turn on “Push Notifications” so that you will be alerted when a transaction or a pre-authorization occurs on your card. Go to Settings, Passbook & Apple Pay and set “Card Notifications” to “On.”
Make POPA Your Default Card: Go to Settings, Passbook & Apple Pay, scroll down to “Default Card," click and select your POPA FCU Credit or Debit Card as the default card on Apple Pay.
Step 4
Paying With Touch ID
Look for the Pay Wave® or Apple Pay symbol at checkout and hold your phone near the contactless reader. Use Apple Pay in these participating stores and Apps
Place your finger on the Touch ID ®. Or, you may need to enter a passcode and sign a receipt.
Keep your phone by the reader until it vibrates and beeps, indicating your payment was accepted.
